Mr. Raymond Zhen

Registrar

Hello, my name is Raymond Zhen. I am currently the Registrar at East West University. Prior to this, I served in the Air Force for 5.5 years and attained my Associate's Degree. When I separated from the military, I came back and graduated at this very University with a Computer and Information Science Bachelor’s degree in 2024. As an older student, I know how hard it can be to juggle school and work with other responsibilities so I am honored and humbled to be able to take this position and make life a little bit easier for students of the University.

Ms. Mierel Rehich

Student Advisor, CSA

Hi! I’m Mierel Rehich, your CSA Advisor here at East-West University. I was born and raised in Chicago and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University. I’m passionate about helping students feel confident in their path and making their university experience as smooth and positive as possible.

Balancing school, work, and life can be challenging, and you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to help with class planning, degree mapping, or just to talk things through when you need support.

Outside of work, I love walking by the lake, spending time with my family, and trying new coffee spots. I’m excited to work with you and celebrate when you graduate!
