Meet Your Registrar
Mr. Raymond Zhen
Hello, my name is Raymond Zhen. I am currently the Registrar at East West University. Prior to this, I served in the Air Force for 5.5 years and attained my Associate's Degree. When I separated from the military, I came back and graduated at this very University with a Computer and Information Science Bachelor’s degree in 2024. As an older student, I know how hard it can be to juggle school and work with other responsibilities so I am honored and humbled to be able to take this position and make life a little bit easier for students of the University.

Meet Your Counseling & Student Affairs Advisor (CSA)
Ms. Romana Puente
Hello! My name is Romana Puente. I am your new CSA Student Academic Advisor.
I was born and raised in Chicago, which in my opinion, is the best city in the U.S. I have had the pleasure of residing in Chicago’s north side communities from Uptown to Jefferson Park and several in between. I currently reside in Jefferson Park with my husband, daughter and 2 fur babies.
I earned my degree in Business Management later in life while juggling 2 jobs and a family. It was difficult at times but thanks to a strong support system I was able to complete my degree with high honors. When I was offered this position it brought back memories of my fellow students who were not so fortunate to have the support that I did. I consider myself extremely lucky and I am very grateful that I have the opportunity to be that support to all of our East-West students.
I have been interested and been employed by several non-profits such as the YMCA, Intentional Sports, and now East-West University. I enjoy and prefer working with non-profits because I feel I can make a difference in those who we are serving.
