Fils Elie's Story
My experience in the Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) program at East-West University has been very rewarding and transformative. One of the things I appreciated the most was the teaching and learning approach within the department. The professors always encouraged practical understanding, teamwork, and problem-solving rather than only focusing on theory.
The hands-on laboratory work, senior design projects, and real-world engineering applications helped me develop both my technical and professional skills. Through the program, I strengthened my knowledge in electronics, electrical systems, renewable energy systems, and project development.
I especially value how supportive and approachable the Advisor and Director of program (Dr. Ash) has been throughout my studies. Her guidance motivated me to push myself further and prepare for a career in engineering and technology.
As an international student with an interdisciplinary background, the EET program gave me the opportunity to connect my previous academic experiences with practical engineering applications in the United States. It has been an important step in my academic and professional journey.
