- Ten years in a Police Agency as an Officer and Juvenile Investigator
- Twenty years in a Sheriff’s Department a Deputy, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain.
- Served in Patrol, Investigations, Corrections, Internal Affairs, and Administration.
- Ten years as Program Chair for a Criminal Justice Program at Westwood College
- Currently serving as Program Director for Behavioral and Social Sciences
