DR. STEFAN GRIFFIN
Since Fall Quarter 2014, Stefan Griffin has served as an adjunct instructor at East-West University, where he has taught Sociology courses in group processes and human relations. Previously he lectured in criminology as an adjunct instructor at Concordia University in River Forest. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and a JD/PhD from Northwestern University. His PhD dissertation work in sociology focused on the career development for women attorneys of color as framed by race, ethnicity, and gender. His academic interests include race, gender, educational, occupational, and professional statuses, organizational behavior, and legal issues. He is a native Chicagoan who enjoys the Chicago Bulls and listening to classic rock and soul music.
