Education Partnership Manager

Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Enrollment Management, the Education Partnership Manager is responsible for effectively building relationships to generate new student inquires and to drive enrollment activity on a consistent basis through securing education partnerships with businesses, corporations and local High School and Community Colleges. The Education Partnership Manager will develop and manage an extensive network of contacts and relationships to generate interest and excitement in East-West University programs. S/he will also be responsible for Military recruitment through local military base contacts.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
5 years of higher education field admissions, outside sales and business development.
Proven ability to identify recruitment and new business opportunities to drive enrollment activity.
Ability to develop strong, long-term relationships.
Knowledge and understanding of selling university programs to a diverse population.
Strong professional presence with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to source new inquiries, create presentations and foster enrollment opportunities.
Ability to work independently.
Proven success with over achieving sales and performance goals on a consistent basis.
Strong work ethic and a goal-oriented, self-motivated approach toward achieving consistent results.
Working knowledge of various web-based resource tools for researching high schools and companies.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Principal Duties:
Clearly articulates the mission and value of East-West University in the community to effectively generate new inquiries that will drive enrollment activity.
Consistently achieves established new inquiry goals, education partnership goals and company visits on a weekly basis.
Visits local companies and military bases to make structured presentations and to secure partnerships. S/he will present factual information regarding East-West University’s programs to education counselors and human resource professionals.
Develop new business contacts and provide guidance to each companies HR and Benefits Representative regarding East-West University programs and services that could benefit their employees.
Work closely with the internal Admissions Enrollment Counselors to ensure each inquiry generated is contacted for an admissions campus visit.
Maintain consistent follow-up with contacts via telephone, in person site visits and emails. S/he must ensure that each contact has current University marketing materials and is aware of upcoming campus recruitment events.
Create and manage the education partnership database.
Coordinate and present at remote recruitment events and work collaboratively with school administrators and faculty.
Attend targeted community events and school sponsored events.
Build strong recruitment relationship with local partnership high schools and community colleges.

Admissions Counselor

Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Enrollment Management, the Admissions Counselor will follow through with the strategies, recruitment plans, and goals for designated student markets. Responsibilities include activities to educate incoming students, parents, and counselors about East-West University and the overall admissions process. S/he will be responsible for all aspects of the admission enrollment process including achieving quarterly recruitment goals, counseling, advising, and evaluation of prospective students.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
2 years of higher education, sales and student management experience preferably in admission/enrollment management and/or student services.
Proven success with over achieving sales and performance goals on a consistent basis.
Strong recruitment, relationship building and sales skills combined with a strong work ethic and a goal-oriented, self-motivated approach toward achieving consistent results.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must be willing to work evenings and at least 1 weekend per month.
Principal Duties:

Completes outbound calls and emails to interested inquiries in a timely manner.
Conducts campus tours and admissions interviews to engage prospective students regarding their educational goals and interest. S/he will effectively match academic program options with the prospective student.
Maintain consistent follow-up communication via telephone, in person and email with all applicants to advise those regarding admission requirements. S/he must ensure that all enrollment paperwork is completed properly and timely so the student can begin class.
Excellent communication and listening abilities: dynamic telephone presence, active listening skills and adaptable interpersonal and public relations skills.
Must be able to represent the organization in a professional manner, recruit and work within a diverse community and follow all policies and procedures with a keen attention to detail.
Leadership, organizational, time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Coordinate and present at on-campus recruitment events and work collaboratively with school administrators and faculty.
Consistently achieves established performance goals and metrics for each term (4+ per year) for each stage of the admissions and enrollment process.

Academic and Career Services Advisor

Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment Management this position is responsible for the academic advising, career planning and job placement of East-West University students. The Academic Advisor will assist students in their academic progress, maintain a dialog about academic progress, and provide motivation and support in helping student's succeed.

- Handles all incoming advising related inquiries via in person, telephone, and electronic communication avenues for the assigned student population within established service metrics.
- Provides information and guidance to all students taking courses and handles most academics related requests to include curriculum concerns or issues, student orientations, academic appeals, probation, and dismissal counseling, etc.
- Responsible for reaching out to assigned students to help motivate them in completing their program of study.
- Will be responsible for advising all Business, Mathematics, and Undeclared majors.

Job Description
East-West University seeks an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as its next Director of Development. The Director will be responsible for advancing the development function to increase awareness of the University and raise capital to support University growth, including new programs and a 17-story Student Life Center now under construction. The initial charge will be to broaden the donor base and develop a major gifts program including goal setting and campaign planning. The Director is a key member of the Development and University Relations (DaUR) Department under the leadership of the Chancellor.
Responsibilities:
· Create and implement strategies that expand the donorbase and increase donations
· Guide the research, identification, cultivation and solicitation of individual donors
· Work with the team’s grant writer to develop and strengthen relationships with corporations, foundations, and government agencies
· Work with academic, enrollment, and student-life leadership to pursue growth opportunities for the college
· Lead the stewardship of resources donated to the college
· Involve alumni in promoting and supporting the college
· Manage fundraising initiatives and prepare for a Capital Campaign
· Coordinate with the DaUR Department to advance development efforts
Qualifications:
· A proven record of successful fundraising in education
· History of cultivating and closing major gifts
· Significant experience across the development spectrum including annual giving, major and planned giving, corporate and foundation giving, and donor relations.
· Experience leading or planning and implementing a successful capital campaign
· Supervisory experience and the ability to recruit, train and retain staff and volunteers a plus
· Relevant database experience, direct knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft a plus
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Talent for building relationships and donor-centered efforts
· Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends and travel
· Bachelor’s degree required, Masters and CFRE preferred
