Dr. Frank Brooks is new full time faculty member     




CHICAGO--East-West University has added a new full time faculty member specializing in Political Science within the Behavioral Sciences department.  Dr. Frank Brooks brings nearly 20 years of teaching experience to East-West as Assistant Professor beginning with the Winter 2013 quarter.


Dr. Brooks earned his Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Government from Cornell University and his B.A. in International Affairs from Texas Christian University.  Dr. Brooks has extensive teaching experience in Political Science, Government and Sociology at the City Colleges of Chicago, Harper College, Northeastern Illinois University, University of Illinois at Chicago, DePaul, St. Xavier, Roosevelt, and Cornell Universities.  He has authored and edited several journal articles and book reviews in prominent academic journals.


A resident of Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood, Dr. Brooks is an avid cyclist with a wide-ranging interest in music.  His office is located in Room E308, and he can be reached by phone at extension 2309 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots.
