YOUNG POETS PERFORM TO HELP REDUCE YOUTH VIOLENCE
CHICAGO-- (Jan. 24, 2008)Young local poets will perform at East-West University on Wed., Dec. 2 at 6:00 p.m. Blaq Ice and Friends will present “Poetry of a New Generation,” a therapeutic application of modern poetry. The performance intends to illustrate creative ways to address the causes of violence among young people in Chicago.
The public is welcome to this free presentation at 816 S. Michigan Ave., in the Fourth Floor Auditorium. Sponsored by the East-West University Department of English and Communications
