About Us
Journalism, graphic design, teaching, public relations, and the law are just some of the careers open to East-West University graduates of the English and Communications program. East-West students read the timeless classics of literature, debate vital current issues, and learn how to use state of the art graphic and multimedia software to reinforce a solid background in effective communication skills. Companies in a wide array of fields are looking for flexible employees who can speak and write well and can think clearly. The English and Communications program will teach students how to analyze situations and respond with effective and compelling presentations. At East-West University, we believe in practical education. Our students have gained practical, hands-on experience through internships with the Chicago Board of Education, local and national television and radio, and renowned cultural institutions.
