Students come from around the corner and around the world. While the majority of students are from Chicago and its suburbs, others come from Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. Students bring with them the rich cultural heritage of their countries which, when blended with American culture, creates a truly international perspective. At East-West, each student is recognized as a unique individual. Academic programs and student services are structured to facilitate individual needs and goals. Each student is assigned to an academic advisor, creating an individual Student Study Plan. Students are encouraged to take part in social and cultural activities on campus and in the community.
